The Matchbox Game

Mrs G introduced the kids to the matchbox game. Remember that? When you have to put as many items in a matchbox as you can.

Great fun, and they've been beavering away all weekend in competition.

What is amazing though, is that none of the kids at school seem to have heard of it, and the parents eyes roll in blissful reminiscence when the game is brought up.

One generation is all it took to go from simple homespun fun to Nintendos,  iPhones, and Playstations. I guess that's progress for you.

Maybe I could make a 'Matchbox Game' app.
