Baby Spotted Shag

I visited J  this morning who is the "Bird Rescue" lady. She is so lovely- totally dedicated to the cause. She had this juvenile Spotted Shag bought in yesterday. It has no waterproofing yet to its feathers so she is feeding it. It is very beautiful closeup- just love its blue/green eyes.
