Steak 'n chips

This week seems to be developing into a food theme.

Whenever we go up to Keswick we always stock up with rib-eye steaks from Thomasons butchers.  They must be the best steaks anywhere in the UK (or world?).  They need just a flash searing in the pan for a few minutes and melt in the mouth.  

I like mine rare but Jane likes hers a bit better done.  As a result I overcooked hers but mine was perfect.

We are going up to Keswick again at the weekend and will probably get more stocks.  We order them vacuum packed from the butcher in pairs and freeze them as soon as we get home.
