Relaxation

One of those days today! I had to take Rob to Gait Barrows before work this morning, as his Land Rover was in the garage having a new hose.
We set off at 8 so I could get back for 9.
On the way, a traffic jam in Oxenholme, road closed at Holme, diversion to Beetham.
By the time we reached Milnthorpe it was already past 8.30, so Rob said he would walk the rest of the way. I shrugged and threw him out!
Not so bad on the way back as I took a different route.
Then staff meeting, then the new till software started playing up, someone needed a refund, didn't know how to do that, buffet lunch to prepare, rushed home to collect the dogs and off to pick up Rob, taking a better route.
Walked the dogs, met Rob, off to Land Rover rendezvous, it was ready!
Cup of tea, Pointless, make supper.
Finally, remembered this lovely ball of wool I bought last year at the knitting and stitching show.
Rob kindly held the skein while I wound it, and started making a gorgeous little mohair scarf. The colours are knitting up beautifully with rainbow patches! And Sibelius symphony no.2 on the wireless.
Pure relaxation!
