Nipper

The flagship HMV London store, at 363 Oxford Street, is on the same site where its original store was opened in 1921.  I have fond memories of visiting another large HMV store just across the road (now a Disney store) with a friend back in the 70's.  I bought the brand new Genesis LP "Wind and Wuthering" that day, and this track from it was playing on the store's loudspeaker system while we were browsing the racks.  Happy days, when life was simple and carefree.

PS:  Nipper was the name of the dog looking into the horn of a cylinder phonograph, still used today as the HMV logo.
