Rural Aberdeenshire

It almost felt like spring in Aberdeenshire today, with the temperature in double figures by late afternoon. I was having a quick coffee at my friends in Kintore after work as the late sun was turning the fields behind her house to gold. I've blipped this view before but it looks quite different now that the trees along the railway line have been chopped down, I believe in preparation for upgrading the line and the much awaited re opening of Kintore station. A productive day today too, which lifted my spirits.
