Spanish Scrapbook (before)

Our third marking period Spanish project is to create a scrapbook of our lives.  It is worth 400 points, which is a big portion of our grade.  Each Monday and Friday are days in class that we can work on our books.  It is very helpful to have these days so that our teacher can help us when we need it.  There is a list of things that we need to talk about in our scrapbook, such as our birth, our school years, our friends, our teachers, our vacations, and what we plan to do in the future.  Each one of these topics has to almost fill a page with writing.  Since we talk about the past, present, and future in our books, we are using all the grammar tenses that we have learned over the past 4 years.  We started this project in January, and it is due in May.  It seems like a long time, but we also have a lot of work to do.  I am looking forward to looking at old pictures and putting them in the scrapbook, and I am not looking forward to all the writing in Spanish.  I think it is a very good idea for a project and I’m excited to see how it turns out.
