Fallen flowers

I have no idea what plant these flowers come from, but over the last couple of weeks or so I have been seeing them laying on the ground in many different places, they really fascinate me, that they look a little like 3 brightly coloured leaves joined together to make a flower, will have to try find out what plant they come from, so that when I do eventually get my own house I can plant some in my own garden
