Past its best

Sometimes I find the imperfection of a spoiled flower very pretty. It was a toss up between blipping the camellia, or this (de?)hydrangea. (Oh, and there was also this pigeon, looking very much in its prime!)

Michael and Lynn correctly identified yesterday's "landscape" as a chewed dog bone. Well done! :)

Vinnie doesn't really understand the concept of playing with toys. Although we've bought him lots over the years he's never shown any real interest in them. They sit in a box with toys that were favourites of our previous dogs, but all he ever takes out of it are old bones that started off filled with tripe and other tasty/disgusting stuff, and are now clean and dry but still great to gnaw on. Some days he'll take out several in quick succession, and a couple of times we've come into the room to find three or four laid out on the carpet in a perfect line. He's a strange dog, that one...!

Anyway: he didn't mind me borrowing one for my desperation macro blip last night. Thanks Vince!
