Guggenheim--Three Floors

An interior view of the Guggenheim Museum in New York, from the fourth floor. The building's structure is very much in evidence.

We were attending an exhibition of photographs by Francesca Woodman, who committed suicide in 1981 at the age of 22. I had never heard of her, but the images in the show (some 120) are highly creative for the time, though often unsettling. Next was a short visit to the Met (Byzantium and Islam, early Egyptian art), and then we headed back to Massachusetts.

A previous blip of the Guggenheim is here, with a further link.
