War Bird.

Went out this morning to meet up with my bike buddies, for a chin wag and a coffee at Llandow. As you can see, the sky was blue, and suddenly this war bird flew over our heads, en route to  R.A.F.  St Athan, the  next  airfield along.  It was an impressive sight. It had  British markings on  it's side. Can anyone identify what plane it is.?
