BAC Lightning

I finished early in Telford this morning so I thought I'd go and have a look at RAF Cosford, somewhere I've never been before. There are three big hangars rammed full of aircraft as well as tanks, artillery and other air related ephemera. An impressive sight, but the packing in makes it a tricky place to shoot.

This BAC Lightning was helpfully suspended from the ceiling without too much distraction from its neighbours. The last all British fighter built in the UK. Single seater and supersonic - it was pretty impressive.
