Ruskin Pottery

This vase is my only family heirloom. It's not that old but it's been passed to me from my Aunt. It was given to her by her older brother, my uncle who died when I was 16. 

It's not even local to where I'm from - The Potteries, it would have been made in Wolverhampton, but it's still an important piece of pottery to me. It's dated 1930 whch is the year my Aunt was born.

The Ruskin pottery studio was reknown for their innovative glazes.
