Pacific Beach

From my daily journal - June 17, 2006

What a beautiful day! We were so lucky with the weather - cool bright sunny, warm water. Ferrel made breakfast and then we all walked and played on the beach until lunch. I took pictures of Evan wake boarding and Steve and Dave flying kites. After lunch Dave, Steve, Arvin and I went to the wetlands in search of birds. Saw only a few. We came back and Ferrel and Nora made dinner. We walked the beach at sunset and talked to our neighbors who were toasting marshmallows over a beach fire. Came home to strawberry shortcake made by Hayley.
