A Larger Murmuration

Last evening I was treated to another murmuration of Starlings over my back garden. This week it was a noticeably larger group of birds and at times they split into two groups and then suddenly merged back into one.

It was very eerie watching the display and as they flew over you could hear this woosh of their wing beats and the occasional tweet from one or two of the birds.

I've now got a couple of days away in Cambridgeshire on the fens birdwatching.
