The New Shore

Beautiful bright sunny day for a change, unfortunately I spent most of the time indoors working on my computer but I did manage to get out late afternoon.

Half of The Shore has been closed for "environmental improvements" for weeks but it has finally re-opened, it does look better, with wider pavements and even a couple trees at the end. They have also stopped parking on it and restricted traffic to buses and cycles only in one direction. Of course now they've re-opened this section of the shore they have closed Henderson Street (further up from The Shore) so traffic isn't back to normal but at the moment it is much more pleasant strolling along without all the traffic.
