Delayed

This evening I was chairing my final committee meeting as chair of the SE branch of Women in Property. We didn't finish until almost 2100 and on getting to Waterloo (tired and ready for bed)  I was despondent to discover that there had been an earlier signal failure and all trains were delayed. In the event, I met a nice young chap - Fergus - who wanted to get to Epsom. So we decided to catch the 1st train to Clapham where we got off, dashed to platform 15 and caught a train that had started at Victoria. This also meant I had someone to talk to all the way home which made the journey pass much faster.
