Dusk from the Hilltop

I walked down the hill, down the road you see here. Then I walked across the frozen lake you see at the bottom of this photo. And finally up the hill to this vantage point.
As the image tells dusk was falling and both the street and house lights were coming on. The final touch was the school bus coming down the hill.
By the time I got home it was dark.
