Took a walk to see one of my fav snowdrop places near Beetham village.  That would have been the blip but the Heron Corn Mill which has lain unused for so long has now been restored back to working order.  Sadly today was not a milling demo day but the miller had the machinery working.  This image is the take off from the water wheel.  It looks every so fast but it was on a 6 sec exposure.  the real speed was about 1 revolution every 10 secs of the closest flywheel.  The green main mast goes the full height of the three storey mill and drive all sorts of wheels and cogs and bits of machinery every so slowly
