Black and White

Took the kids out for lunch today, to the alleged oldest pub in England. Whether it is or not I couldn't comment, apart from to say the advertising reckons there was an inn on the site back in 953AD. 

This was taken from the car park, looking across the road. It is a charming area - the church just down the road dates from the 11th century.
