Old Course St Andrews

Walked the Old Course today, all 6721 yards in glorious sunshine. The course is not played on a Sunday usually, and is open to anyone and their dogs and children to play on the hallowed turf.

Mostly selfies on the iconic Swilken Burn Bridge. I resisted but it may have made a more interesting blip but risked revealing my secret identity.

Wonderful.

Incidentally,  my first ever television appearance was as a young lad walking down the 17th fairway just behind Jack Nicklaus before he went on to win the 1970 Open Championship.
