Lamont's Pier

This is Lamont's pier on the lower Clyde.  Feeling so lousy this was a bit of a cheat as I only had to open the car door to shoot the frame.

I passed the time of day with an old timer from the nearby boat yard who was regaling me of the armed stand off this week!  The pier is abandoned and dilapidated however it turns out a man armed with a knife had a stand off with police officers earlier this week.  I had not heard about it but apparently it was all over the local news... I really must try and pay more attention!!
