It had come to this

Spoilt for choice today. Split the later of the logpile and headed off with FirstBorn for a wander along Salisbury Crags to Calton Hill. Bright hazy light gave us a sundog over the Old Town, and there was some interesting new Caltongate street art, but this was probably the most unrepeatable find of the day - redolent of lost innocence and the callousness of our age: Winnie the Pooh down and out in the big city, the Hundred Acre Wood no doubt long since felled and built on.

Of course, this shot could be the victim of a candid camera style prank ("Let's leave the soft toy there and see who snaps"), but who cares? (And maybe that's the point)
