The View from Calton Hill

Another glorious summer day. I went for a quick walk up Calton Hill at lunchtime to enjoy the sunshine.

I have wanted to blip this view for ages (quite a classic Edinburgh shot), unfortunately the beautiful day did not provide ideal conditions for photography as it was too bright and hazy - this view works much better with a dramatic stormy sky ...
