Absent Friends

Just as the Swallows arrived after their journey north, me and Mrs B and a couple of friends were traveling south to relax and catch some sun. A bit ironic given the gorgeous weather when we left and the forecast for the rest of the week! It was the same when we went to Oz in March. We caught the end of the wet season while Scotland basked in a heatwave. It seems to be a case of if you wish to plan for some good weather in Scotland, wait to we go away!

Never mind, its wall to wall sunshine here in Tenerife and there is all the food and drink you can consume. An excellent way to relax.

Unfortunately, another couple who were to be on the holiday with us had to cancel for medical reasons. So today's blip is for Elaine and Iain who we were thinking of a lot as we sat around the pool. Wishing you both all the best and a speedy recovery for Elaine.

As the wi-fi is limited here and I am having to sit on the steps outside our room to get a signal, commenting may be a bit curtailed this week.
