Bike Festival

I had forgotten that this week was the bike festival in town.

On Friday night over 1000 riders were allowed to ride the airport runway, after the last flight landed at 7.45pm. There were expecting 500 people.

A workmate had mentioned that tonight they were allowed to ride on one of the bowlign greens infront of the museum. They were having a practise run when I shoot down, but had to head off before the main event started.

Caught up with some people I know, including a young lad who joined camera club about 3 years back. He is now taller than me, so much a young man, and no longer has his child like features.

Should be a good night blatting it out around the bowling green.
