A Writer's Life

By Awriterslife

Monday Night: Softball

It was the first game of the season. Imagine writers, students, professors (all of literature or arts, of course), running around, trying to hit the ball. For one of them, it was his first experience. They'd told him: hit the ball, and run to first base. No one told him: when another batter comes and hits the ball, go to second. So he didn't. I'm pretty sure I'll improve, though!

Just a fun night watching friends making fool of themselves, while their kids played along in the stands.
