Chantry Bridge Chapel...

...for MonoMonday : Bridges.
Built in the 14th Century, and one of only three bridge chapels still in existence, it is over the road from the Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield.
Chantry Bridge is a Grade I listed building, and has been painted by many famous artists, including Turner ( we did pop into the gallery to see Philip Reinagle's version, just for completeness). From any distance the view of the bridge isn't great since the road obstructs most of it - you can just see the chapel peeping over the top.
