Pussy Willow buds opening

I spotted this on my walk to Lidl. It's on a piece of land that's caught between developments and was advertised for some time as being for sale with planning permission for 30 dwellings. Obviously it's not big enough for the big boy builders who only seem interested in huge developments on our greenest unspoilt places rather than smaller ones on brown field sites. In the meantime the locals enjoy the pussy willow in the spring and the blackberries in the autumn.

No farm today - rainy, half-term and plenty to do at home. Tomorrow I'll try for a better, more in focus blip :)
