Roof ornament

We braved the 35 degree cold today to take a walk down the road and around the subdivision down the street.  Someone has constructed a new home and had this lovely  copper heron/crane? placed on the roof.   I know that the copper will tarnish in the SC sun and weather but it is really shiny now!  Waiting for blue sky to take a photo again!
