if it's not law to bake and walk during half term, then it really should be.

spotted a few over-ripe bananas in mum's kitchen and lovingly transformed them into a banana loaf. what a resurrection. then this afternoon i persuaded the (not really) sick one to come for a walk along the river. signs of spring are on the way and it was utter bliss.

thankfully we are in a house with a recordable tv box today as it's broadchurch (YES!) on at the same time as what looks to be a fascinating programme which imagines a britain with a ukip government. a terrifying prospect.
