And just about
To touch

The more romantic amongst us will take this to be:
A star-crossed parting
That plays on the heartstrings
Tragically straining
But ultimately failing
To touch

In the hands of another
This picture (fig. 1)
Would move us
But here it is merely
Nearly touching
