The Office

Thank you to everyone who commented and gave stars and hearts for my time blip yesterday.  I really appreciate it.  I haven't had time to reply or leave comments on other journals!
We had to go into the city today for a follow-up appointment and had some time to spare, so we decided to take a drive around UVIC, our alma mater.  G was involved in student politics and was the Vice President of the Student Society one year.   One of his finest contributions was getting the the first student daycare centre established on campus.
Here he is standing in front of the window of his old office.  One of our friends, Roy,  used to knock on the window to let us know that he'd arrived with lunch - which he'd salvaged from dumpsters outside grocery stores.  We were astounded at the excellent quality of the food that was tossed away.  I hear that young people take pride in salvaging food these days - Roy was ahead of his time!  
We had such a great time at university.  It's nice to go back now and then for a walk down memory lane.
