Merganser Duck's lunch

I was watching this cute duck as he caught something...he hung on tight....he shook it...he broke it in half....he swallowed it. I am not sure what he had but it had a claw that flew off when he shook it off.

Another beautiful sunny day in Oregon. Great day for yard work and meeting friends for a cold coffee drink at Starbucks. Very enjoyable day with great conversation with my girlfriends. I need that once in awhile! Very nice!
