Copenhagen and Me.

Before Elevators

...if you wanted to get to the top - you built a road. OK, this is a fairly unique structure.

Rundetårn (built 1637-42)

The Rundetårn (English: Round Tower) is a 17th-century tower located in central Copenhagen, Denmark. One of the many architectural projects of Christian IV, it was built as an astronomical observatory. It is most noted for its 7.5-turn helical corridor leading to the top, and for the expansive views it affords over Copenhagen.

It really is worth the three quid it costs to visit and because I totally screwed up the panorama/world shot I was going for I may well fork out again soon. I'm feeling very mildly flush after delivering another 3 prints (which the printer has told me I'm undercharging for.)

For directions check out the GPS/map/tag thingy ..... very cool feature.
