Limerick school skirts

My most surprising finding this week is that in Limerick the school uniform requires girls to wear really long skirts. This little trio was happy to pose for me to show just how hideous (in their eyes, as well as mine) this uniform is!

A friend who accompanied me to the conference also took a similar photo for the sole purpose of showing to her teenage daughter who frequently "adapts" her own school skirt to a length that is quite at the other extreme. The threat will be that she will be sent to boarding school in Limerick.
