East Beach architecture

"A place of prospect and refuge .... with generous views of the sea."  say the architects, Heatherwick Studios,  of this interesting beach café at East Beach, Littlehampton. It opened in June 2007, but today was our first time eating there. Scallops (starter size portion) followed by sticky toffee pudding and icecream, at a lovely sunny window table. And look at that clear blue sky, not a cloud in sight. Fabulous afternoon.
