I've no idea what's going on here but this was our last minute 'we're stuck in New York' brunch at Essex. And it was a great one. Our glasses were never below half full and smashed glasses were instantly refreshed. There were lots (too many) games of what are the odds and the food was amazing.

Maybe New York isn't too bad a place to be stuck
