Dessert

I am not really a big fan of desserts and puddings (stop the howl of complaints!) but we stopped off on the way home to visit the wonderful Forty North delicatessen. There was an enticing array of delicious food, so we bought a sample for dinner, including this cranachan. (Cranachan is a traditional dish of the Highlands and Islands, made of cream, oatmeal, whisky, and raspberries - including blaeberries in this version!). Lovely! The placemat came from the red centre of Australia, to complement the red centre of dessert....
