graveyard walk

Toddler and I often explore the graveyards of Edinburgh and have done since I could quietly walk with him in the sling.

The walks aren't so quiet now, but still lovely. I try to teach him respect for the graves and the those in them, not to run or climb and to take time to read (well, I read and he could be listening?) what people wrote to remember others. 


Sometimes though, I'm loose with the truth. I said this was the grave of a pirate and asked how many more we could find. I know it's not BTW.
