Is All This For Me?

It was such a surprise to see a goldfinch on the feeder this morning, that I grabbed the camera and took a shot without even checking settings, hence the quality. I was hoping that he'd tell his friends but no more arrived, so he had the feeder to himself. 

It seems that the food they like can be spelt nyger, niger and nyjer but whatever it's called, they love it. 

As it was our youngest daughter's birthday today, we had a lovely lunch at Brize Norton, where the children could play in the garden afterwards. The weather was amazing, especially after the deluge yesterday.
