The long and very winding road

Today we travelled up my favourite road; up the road from Coromandel town to Port Jackson. This is not a road for the faint hearted but my M rose to the challenge, 26k of unmade (metal) road, winding in and out and round about. Sometimes down at sea level and sometimes up high looking down at the sea. The scenery is stunning and is what l call "old New Zealand" - not a pretence at modernism.

When we returned off the road, back down at the hamlet of Coromandel, we stopped and l bought MUSSEL SAUSAGES for supper. We stopped at the smokie and bought smoked tuna for supper tomorrow night
