La Cancha Construction

Our beloved volleyball court is undergoing major reconstruction, has been since before Christmas. I have stopped by often, checking on the progress, and of course, I took photos each visit. Today, I captured this panorama of what has transpired in the past two months. To the left were the old, uncovered basketball courts, to the right stood the two volleyball courts, one formerly covered, the other open to the sky. Looks like all the new courts will be covered and they will have a different orientation if the structure taking shape in the middle is to become bleachers. Hopefully work will continue at a rapid pace so we can once again be playing here rather than at the temporary courts downtown.
