Sunny day on the Firth

This is a photo of the old red sandstone pier at North Kessock. The red sandstone came from a quarry at Redcastle over two hundred years ago. This pier was replaced by the one opposite the Hotel, which was built last century and now has been replaced by The Kessock Bridge in 1981.
The weather was great today, 13 degrees C and sunny all day.
