Glacial valley

The classic ski trail extends for 7km up to the hotel, and beyond. We didn't manage the beyond bit today as the sun was dropping rapidly behind the mountain range. It extends to a classic moraine, a large glacial lake and a cirque of spectacular peaks which all summit just below 4000m except one.
A warm ascent was followed by a chilly descent, and a hot bath!
