The Fens

I went out with the Wednesday cycling group, again on the tandem. Its a much faster pace so it was great to be able to keep up.  This is a view from the back of the tandem. We live on the edge of the Fens - very very flat. We NEVER go cycling on them. Some people think it would be easy going, but it's not. There will always be a head wind one way and being flat makes it quite boring. But the Fens are spectacular for big skies. We went to the same tea stop as Sunday, but I think it was just me and Mr PB who were out on both days. 

Home to watching the rat (who is stressing me out!) making himself quite at home on the patio. He is very brave and won't be tempted into any of the traps. I do think (and hope) his days are numbered!!
