River Forth

On a mild gloomy day it was good at least to find a new walk from Aberfoyle. A well marked route via Easter Hill and back by the banks of the river passes through a mixture of fine woodland . The Forth here is deep but not too wide , so different from the broad river which will eventually wind its way though Stirling and on to the widening Firth spanned by great bridges. The light was poor but I was pleased to get this blue shade in the water under dark cloudy skies as light faded.A repeat of this walk in finer weather is on the cards
