Killdeer, bird

I was out at lunchtime and driving around to try and get a photo of the snow-covered mountains.  But it is hard to find a good spot.  I am not quite dedicated enough to stand in the middle of traffic to get the shot I want.

The road into the park near work was not quite cleared, but a strip of the ground next to the road had been scraped when the plow was turning around.  The birds were flocked there.  I caught this killdeer with my camera!
