"We'll Have The Alligator.... And Make It Snappy"

Today we celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary.

We had dinner at the Brick Ridge. As it is Mardi Gras, the featured state this week is Louisiana, and the music to match was a blend of Cajun and Frank Sinatra. I have never been so glad to hear Frank Sinatra come on, but I digress.

We started with Alligator bites. (Looks like grey stringy fish, tastes like chewy chicken!). Then we had the House Salad followed by Waygu Beef served over a Warm Potato Salad (think breakfast potatoes) with fried onions. The portions were ridiculous, and I will have a whole other meal out of my leftovers. Then we were told we could have a complimentary dessert as we were celebrating. The waitress reeled of a list of half a dozen heavy stodgy desserts, one of which , the fruit cobbler, came with a scoop of ice-cream, so we ordered that ...... minus the cobbler!

Here's to year 27!
