Untitled 1

I have been focusing a great deal on urban landscapes as of late.  Part of the draw for me is this dichotomy between the "natural" world and that in which many people live.  Seeing as the city represents a "reality" for so many, I take it to mean that this landscape is "natural" to them.  Despite our predisposition to classical "natural" landscapes, I contend they no longer represent a notion of the sublime, but rather an alien or elusive experience that is more a novelty to city dwellers than a relate-able actuality.
